This session is designed for comprehensive 360 degree Preparation of MDCAT as per PMDC Syllabus and NUMS MDCAT as per NUMS Syllabus.

About Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test

The Medical & Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) is a standardized admission test which is MANDATORY for admission to MBBS and BDS Programme in all public and private sector medical and dental institutions. It is a three and a half hour (210 minutes) pen and paper-based test.

  • • Duration of MDCAT: 3.5 hours
  • • Minimum Passing Marks for MBBS: 55%
  • • Passing Marks for BDS: 50%
  • • No Negative Marking

NUMS-MDCAT

The NUMS (Medical & Dental College Admission Test) is a multiple-choice question (MCQ) exam, mandatory for pre-medical students aspiring to secure admission in NUMS affiliated medical and dental colleges.

About National University of Medical Sciences – Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test

The NUMS MDCAT is a standardized admission test which is MANDATORY for admission to MBBS and BDS Programmes in all NUMS affiliated public and private sector medical and dental institutions. It is a three hour (180 minutes) pen and paper-based test.

NUMS-MDCAT Paper Pattern

  • • Total Number of MCQs: 250
  • • Duration of NUMS-MDCAT: 3 hours
  • • Minimum Passing Marks for MBBS: 55%
  • • Passing Marks for BDS: 50%
  • • No Negative Marking

Shall consists of 100 MCQs & 30 minutes

Phase I: Regular Prep (50-60 days / Approx. 2 months)
Preparation of MDCAT as per PMDC Syllabus

  • • Unit-Wise Preparation of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Logical Reasoning through Lectures
  • • 56 Unit-Wise tests
  • • 4 Quarter FLPs
  • • 3-5 FLPs as per PMDC Syllabus & Test format
  • • Follow Up Lectures/ Discussions
  • • Motivation lectures for capacity building

Phase II: (20-30 days / Approx. 1 month)
Unit Wise Tests with Comprehensive Test Discussion

  • • 56 Unit-Wise tests
  • • 4 Quarter FLPs
  • • 5 FLPs as per PMDC Syllabus & Test format
  • • Follow Up Lectures/ Discussions
  • • Motivation lectures for capacity building

Phase III: (10-15 days) (Only for NUMS aspirants)

  • • Leftover topics as per NUMS syllabus will be arranged in 10-15 days SOS by each subject
  • • 10 Tests comprising an equal proportion of leftover topics
  • • 5 FLPs as per NUMS Syllabus & Test format
  • • Follow Up Lectures/ Discussions

Session Duration

Approx. 3-3.5 months or Till NUMS test date whichever comes first.
